10/24/2012

(KAIR) -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Kansas City District is offering Missouri River stakeholder engagements on the district’s Clem Meyer II in order to engage local stakeholders in conversation to hear their concerns and provide information about the Missouri River and its features.

The Clem Meyer II will run starting from Rulo, Nebraska on November 5th and ending in St. Louis on November 9th. Each day the Clem Meyer II will work its way downstream, offering stakeholders the opportunity to view the river, its features, banks, and structures on its way to the next stop.

The tour will come to Saint Joseph at noon on November 5th and travel to Atchison at four that afternoon.

The tour will resume from Atchison at eight the morning of November 6th and will continue until its next stop at Parkville, Missouri at 11.

Seats on the Clem Meyer II will be offered on a first come, first served basis and are limited to seven seats on each leg.
