Halloween Safety Urged As Holiday Approaches

(KNZA)--Halloween is fast approaching, and that means costumed children will take to the streets in search of candy.  

However, without simple steps, the fun of the holiday can be spoiled with injury, or worse. 

Nemaha County Sheriff Rich Vernon both motorists, and tricker treaters, should use caution to avoid potential, real life dangers(Play Audio) 

Remember:  Halloween should be a fun time, and taking just a few extra minutes, whether behind the wheel or preparing to head out the door on the candy quest, can keep everyone safe during the celebration.
