( KNZA )--A November 28th preliminary hearing is now set for a Wetmore man facing multiple charges—including aggravated kidnapping.
32-year-old Cassidy Grimm is also charged in Nemaha County District Court with felony counts of aggravated burglary, aggravated battery, criminal threat, and burglary along with misdemeanor theft.
Grimm was arrested October 23rd by the Sabetha Police Department.
He’s accused of breaking into the home of his ex-wife, holding her against her will, battering her and threatening her and the children in the home.
Grimm eventually left the residence, giving the victim time to notify law enforcement.
He was arrested shortly afterwards and booked into the Nemaha County Jail where he remains on $500,000 bond.
