(KAIR) -- One person suffered minor injuries as the result of a two-vehicle injury accident late Friday afternoon northwest of Atchison city limits.
According to Atchison County Sheriff John Calhoon, the accident occurred at the intersection of 298th and Ottawa Road.
An eastbound vehicle driven by 16-year-old Beau Vowles was attempting to exit off the blacktop at the same time a southbound vehicle driven by 59-year-old Robert Swordy of Atchison was coming around the curve when the vehicles struck.
Swordy was transported to the Atchison Hospital with injuries.
