A woman from Julian, Nebraska was taken to the hospital in Falls City following a two-vehicle accident Wednesday morning.
The accident happened shortly before 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Highways 73 and 67 in Richardson County. According to the Richardson County Sheriff’s Department, Grace Burgert of Julian was driving a Chrysler Minivan east on Highway 73. A Chevy SK-1, being driven by Sue Bantz of Stella, that was stopped at the stop sign at Highway 67 and 73 pulled into the intersection and collided with Burgert’s minivan.
Bantz told authorities she did not see the minivan before beginning to cross the highway.
Grace Burgert was transported by ambulance to Community Medical Center in Falls City with possible but not visible injuries. No citations were issued.
