21 year old Noah Hall of Falls City entered a plea of guilty to six class III felony counts of possession of child pornography in Richardson County District Court Tuesday in exchange for the dismissal of a seventh charge.
Sentencing is scheduled for March 20th.
Nebraska Attorney General Jon Bruning said in a news release that Hall downloaded sexually explicit images of children being victimized. He says the crime not only violates the law, but also perpetuates the damage done by re-victimizing each child involved.
The plea agreement stems from an investigation by the Attorney General’s Office Rural Cybercrimes Unit.
Each count carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a $25,000 fine.
