Due to the possibility of heavy snow moving into the area Pioneer Conference school administrators have decided to alter the schedule of the Pioneer Conference basketball tournament.
The boys championship game and consolation finals have been moved from Saturday to today in Sterling and will be played along with the girls finals.
Today’s schedule will find the girls third place game between Pawnee City and Sterling being played at 3:30 p-m; the boys third place game between Johnson-Brock and Freeman will be played at 5 p-m; the girls championship game between Freeman and Friend will be played at 6:30 p-m followed by the boys title game between Pawnee City and Sterling at 8 p-m.
All of the Saturday consolation games scheduled to be played at 9:30 a-m, 11 a-m and 12:30 p-m at Freeman and Johnson-Brock have been cancelled.
