(KAIR) -- Two area residents have placed in the 2012 Kansas Green Team Photo Contest.
Robb Heinz of Atchison placed second in the Recreation category which features a stunt airplane while James Dodge of Denton placed second in the Buildings and Monuments category.
Dodge’s photo featured the historic round barn in rural Denton, which was destroyed in July by a microburst of wind.
Photographers throughout Kansas were invited to submit photos that celebrate the unique character of Kansas.
The Kansas Green Team program was created in 2007 as a way to make a difference by incorporating environmentally responsible practices into your daily routine at work and at school.
