McLouth Man Pleads Guilty to Meth Possession

(KAIR) -- A McLouth man facing multiple drug charges has entered into a plea agreement.

Landon Stevenson pleaded guilty Thursday in Jefferson County District Court to a charge of  possession of methamphetamine.

In exchange for the plea, charges of distribution of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia were dismissed.

Stevenson and Kenneth McAfee were arrested in mid-January after authorities served a search warrant on a residence at 608 Lake Street in McLouth.

During the search, drugs were discovered.

Stevenson is free on 25 thousand dollars bond and sentencing was set for April 4th.

A preliminary hearing for McAfee is set for Monday.
