(KAIR) -- Formal charges have been filed against a McLouth teen in a child sex case.
According to Jefferson County Attorney Jason Belveal, 18-year-old Kenneth McClelland faces one count of aggravated indecent solicitation of a child, a level five felony.
Belveal says the inappropriate contact allegedly occurred with a 13-year-old girl on or about March 23rd.
McClelland was arrested by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department over the weekend.
A preliminary hearing has been set for June 10th.
McClelland is free on a 50 thousand dollar property bond.
