(KMZA)--A Lawrence man charged in connection with a physical altercation in Sabetha last December involving a baseball bat has been sentenced to more than 4 years in prison.
32-year-old Randy Berglund was recently sentenced in Nemaha County District Court to 52 months in prison on a charge of aggravated battery.
He was also ordered to pay more than $330 in court costs and fees.
Berglund pleaded no contest to the charge in April.
He was arrested in January by the Nemaha County Sheriff’s Department on a warrant charging him with the felony offense following an investigation by the Sabetha Police Department.
