(MSC News)--The Kansas Highway Patrol is seeking assistance from the public to help identify a vehicle which left the scene of a Shawnee County crash, which resulted in severe injuries to a pedestrian, earlier this week.
The crash occurred on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at approximately 8:00 p.m. The vehicle was northbound on K-4 Highway at Seward Avenue, when it hit a pedestrian, who was walking on K-4.
The suspect vehicle the Patrol is looking for is an older, possibly 1990’s to early 2000’s model Chevrolet truck, dark blue or black in color. It will be missing its right side mirror, and it is likely the passenger side headlight is inoperable.
The Kansas Highway Patrol is grateful to the public for their assistance in our cases. There have been numerous instances and vehicles which have been successfully located, thanks to help from our citizens. Please call Master Trooper Adam Simone at 785-296-3102, with any information.
