Benedictine College Men’s Basketball Adjust After Loss of Teammate

It was a tough final two months for the community of Atchison, Kansas. A grain elevator explosion, the first police officer killed in the line of duty in 112 years, and the death of Benedictine College men’s basketball Redshirt Sophomore guard R.J. Demps. He was killed in a one car accident near Weston after he hit what authorities believe was an icy patch of Missouri Highway 45 on his way to Kansas City to fly home for Christmas. David Meyer shares the team’s progress following the tragedy, and their plans to honor RJ Demps.
