Auburn Council Discusses Downtown Projects

You may have noticed a number of improvement projects in downtown Auburn recently.  Monday night the Council spent a good deal of time discussing topics that will allow further improvements to be made.
    Up first was a meeting with representatives of the School House Graphic Products students from Arnold, Nebraska.  Mayor Scott Kudrna.  ( play audio  :37 seconds )
    The Auburn Council also further discussed ways to move forward with gaining recognition for areas of the city from the Nebraska State Historical Society. ( play audio :21 seconds )
    Mayor Kudrna says the goal is to help business owners make improvements while preserving historic looks. ( play audio :39 seconds )
    Mayor Kudrna explains some of the hoops the City will need to set up to meet guidelines and keep local control of the projects.  ( play audio  :35 seconds )
    The Auburn Council is also looking for ways to continue utilizing economic development funds the City is currently using for improvement projects.  ( play audio  1:05 )
