(KLZA) The Auburn City Council took no action regarding a report submitted by Dottie Holliday concerning the Auburn Airport Authority and the response to the report from the Airport Authority. Mayor Scott Kudrna provided an update. ( play audio :29 seconds )
Following a public hearing drawing no public comment the Auburn Council approve the final tax request for the next fiscal year as previously published at 47.5 cents per $100 of assessed valuation. That is the same levy rate as the past several years. Mayor Kudrna said once the last fiscal year was completed, the City had more cash on hand than anticipated. ( play audio :24 seconds )
The Auburn Council also heard a report from JEO Consulting representatives concerning the West P Street Culvert project which is anticipated to cost just over $100,000. ( play audio :32 seconds )
Another public hearing was held to present information on the Downtown Revitalization Phase II Grant Projects currently underway in Auburn. ( play audio :29 seconds )
Council members also approved authorization of water liens and sewer liens against real estate on delinquent accounts with the Auburn Board of Public Works.
