(KLZA) During last weeks meeting of the Auburn City Council the annual audit report was presented by the firm Massman, Nelson and Reinig. Mayor Scott Kudrna was pleased with the audit report. ( play audio :24 seconds )
The Auburn Council also approved the holidays for 2013 for City employees, remaining the same as 2012. A funding agreement with the Auburn Chamber of Commerce and a maintenance agreement with the Nebraska Department of Roads were both approved during the meeting.
A recommendation from the Keep Auburn Beautiful Committee was also approved involving building new homes where dilapidated housing has been razed. ( play audio :46 seconds )
