(KAIR) -- After getting feedback from Atchison County Department heads on the potential creation of a new special projects manager for the county, a decision to advertise for the position was tabled Wednesday.
Commissioners Jeff Schuele and Mike Bodenhausen were split on the matter, with Commissioner Tom Wagner abstaining from the discussion.
Wagner stated since the position would take effect in 2013, after he leaves office, he didn’t want to decide on something he wouldn’t be involved in.
Schuele favored the creation of the position, which is budgeted for 2013.
