Morris Charles Miller, 80, of Wathena, Kansas passed away Thursday, October 27, 2016.Morris was born on September 12, 1936 in Wathena, Kansas to Leo P. & Dorothy Marie (Boeh) Miller.
He was of the Catholic faith. Morris farmed & worked as a mechanic. He served in the U.S. Navy.Morris married Ruth Anne Miller on June 28, 1958. She preceded him in death on November 19, 2014. He was also preceded in death by his parents, brother, Omer Miller & a sister, Ruthie Whistler.

Darlene Marie Eylar, 86, of Atchison KS died Thursday, Oct. 27, 2016 at Vintage Park in Atchison, KS.
Funeral services will be 10:30 AM on Monday, Oct. 31st, 2016 at Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home with Abbott Barnabus Senecal, OSB officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A parish rosary will be recited at 4:00 pm on Sunday, Oct. 30th, 2016 with visitation to follow until 6:30 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Benedicts Grade School and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Condolences to the family may be left online at www.beckerdyer.com.
Darlene was born on Oct. 16, 1930 in Atchison KS the daughter of Millard J. and Letha M. (Kelsay) Overton. She had worked for Electrica Manufacturing from 1953-1955, as a clerk at the former Pamida from 1970-1993, as a Green Thumb worker for 5 years, and her last place of work was at Bekin’s Moving and Storage, Atchison retiring in 2013. Darlene was a member of St. Benedict’s Church, the Little Flower Circle, the Meadowlark Club, was a former Den-Mother for Cub Scouts, member of TOPS, and enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading, traveling and especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Darlene was married to Leslie Eylar on Aug, 23, 1947. Mr. Eylar preceded her in death on Aug. 10, 1995. Survivors include two sons, Roger K. Eylar, Easton, KS, Martin J. Eylar, Atchison KS., a daughter, Pamela S. Goodman, Atchison, KS., eight grandchildren, two step grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. Her parents, husband Leslie, infant son- Raymond, infant daughter- Linda, two brothers, James and Gerald Overton preceded her in death.

Lowell Joseph Keithley, 83, of rural Falls City passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, October 10, 2016, at his home in rural Falls City, Nebraska.
A Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 13, 2016, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Falls City, Nebraska.
Viewing will be held from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Friday, October 14, 2016, at the Hall Funeral Chapel - 2403 Harlan ST. - Falls City, Nebraska.
Funeral Mass for Lowell Keithley will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2016, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Falls City, Nebraska with Father Thomas Dunavan officiating.
Interment will be at St. Anne’s Catholic Cemetery in Shubert, Nebraska.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Sacred Heart Schools.

Sarah Ann Reeves, age 97, of Auburn, Nebraska, passed away Friday, October 7, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Auburn, Nebraska.
Funeral Services for Sarah Ann Reeves will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 14, 2016, at the Hall Funeral Chapel in Auburn, Nebraska with Pastor Tom Osborne officiating.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at the Hall Funeral Chapel in Auburn, Nebraska. Family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be at the Sheridan Cemetery in Auburn.

Wayne Gerdes, age 63 of Johnson, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at UNMC in Omaha.

Edwin J. Nutzman, 87, of Falls City, NE passed away September 30, 2016 at Sabetha, KS. He was born January 5, 1929 at Falls City to the late John and Sophia (Scholl) Nutzman.
He married Jean I. Schutte on August 2, 1952 at Pawnee City, NE. She later passed away on February 16, 1999.
Edwin was raised in rural Falls City on the family farm. Once married the couple lived in various locations around Richardson County until they established their home on the family farm 14 miles northeast of Falls City. Other than farming he enjoyed performing many tasks with his bulldozer. He was a member of the Falls City Rural Fire Department and St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his son, Rick Nutzman, and his wife, Susan of Falls City, daughter, Dania Nutzman of Lincoln, NE, brother, Glen Nutzman and his wife, Betty of Monroe, LA, grandchildren, Cozett Knight, and her husband, Isaac of Belton, MO, Devan Nutzman of Vancouver, WA, Derrick Nutzman, Lincoln and two great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother, Leroy and sister, Marceile Ankrom.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church with Wanda Biel officiating. Interment will be at the Williamsville Cemetery to follow.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 from 7:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home
