Theresa Viola Rasdall, 88, formerly of Lancaster, KS died on Friday, Oct. 24th, 2025, at the Atchison Senior Village.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, Oct. 28th, 2025, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home with Rev. Don Payne officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Effingham, KS. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Atchison Humane Society and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Condolences to the family may be left online at www,beckerdyer.com.
Theresa was born on May 12, 1937, in Plattsburgh, NY the daughter of William Joseph and Agnes Josephine (King) Giguere. She attended school in Plattsburgh, NY. She was married to Donald Eugene Rasdall on April 29th, 1959, at the Plattsburgh Airforce Chapel. He preceded her in death on Dec. 28th, 1998. Theresa was a self-employed childcare provider from her home. She was a member of the Community of Christ Church, Atchison, and the VFW Auxiliary. She attended the Senior Citizens Project Concern, enjoyed playing bingo, plastic canvas crafts, and going to the casino.
She is survived by three sons; Donald C. Rasdall, Atchison, KS, John Paul Rasdall, Easton, KS, and Brian Keith (Jeannette) Rasdall, St. Joseph, MO, two daughters; Terri Lynn (Robert) Harden, Lancaster, KS, Debra Kay (Richard) Burrows, Ottumwa, IA, Thirteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. Her parents, husband, Don Rasdall, daughter Cheryl Spellmeier, and four brothers; Loren, Desmond, Richard and Gerald Giguere preceded her in death.
